We held a successful Auction on 8 October, with a great result.  Executive home 334 Mowbray River Road, Mowbray generated lots of interest with three potential buyers bidding on the property.  Two of the buyers are from Melbourne and the third who purchased the property, is from Adelaide.  All three buyers flew up to view the property prior to auction after viewing the online and print marketing and following discussions with Sales Manager, Mark Flinn.  We had 35 bids from the three different buyers and the property then sold under the hammer for $1,188,000.  This is a great sign that the real estate market is buoyant, and for the right property there is interest and buyers out there.  The purchaser works for the Universtity in Adelaide and hopes to move into the property in his retirement in the next few years.

Vendor Duncan Macfarlane was happy with the result and commented “I found working with Mark Flinn a very rewarding experience. It is rare to find such honesty is the sales game and it was refreshing to be told what I needed to hear not what I wanted to hear. He is organized, professional worked very hard to list and then market our property in a short period of time. This resulted in the successful sale of our property at auction. Great result all round. I would not hesitate to work with and or recommend Mark for your buying or selling needs.”

The second property we took to auction 29 Coral Drive, Port Douglas was passed in on the day and is now for sale for $875,000.  We have had two offers since the auction and are close to securing a sale.
